An 18-year-old woman was shot in the Negev and evacuated to Soroka Medical Center in Be'er Sheva in critical condition. Earlier, she was brought to the hospital by an MDA team near the Edan HaNegev interchange on Highway 40. "She was in an altered state of consciousness with a penetrating injury," said paramedic Dana Levitin. "We provided her with life-saving medical treatment that included stopping bleeding and administering medication, and we evacuated her quickly to the hospital in critical and unstable condition."
