Commander of 162nd Division to soldiers: 'Thanks to you we will see our hostages return home'

Soldiers of the 162nd Division have completed their renewed operational deployment in the Gaza Strip after withdrawing to agreed lines, as part of the agreement to end the war and return the hostages. The division commander told his soldiers: "Thanks to you, in the coming days we will witness moving scenes of our hostages returning to their homes and families. Thanks to you, regular and reserve personnel, I know that days of hope and unity lie ahead." Since the outbreak of fighting, 282 soldiers from the division have fallen; about 6,200 soldiers were wounded, of whom about 5,300 have recovered and returned to combat.
