The prosecution unit filed a prosecutor's statement with the Tzfat Magistrate's Court ahead of filing an indictment against Rabbi Yosef Shovali (54) of Meron, who serves as a rabbi in the Breslov community and is suspected of committing serious sex offenses against men. Over the past month, five complaints were filed against him with the police, and on May 6 he was arrested. Since then, at least 16 testimonies have been collected against the rabbi, and this morning the Northern District Attorney's Office is expected to file an indictment against him.
