Republican leaders in Congress back Trump: Iran rejected all diplomatic paths

|
Senate Republican Majority Leader John Thune addressed the American strike on Iran, saying, "The regime in Iran, which has pledged 'death to America' and to erase Israel from the map, has rejected all diplomatic paths to peace. As we take action tonight to ensure nuclear weapons remain out of Iran's reach, I stand with President Trump." Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson also commented on the strike, saying: "The military action in Iran should serve as a clear reminder to our adversaries and our allies that President Trump means what he says."
