The IDF eliminated Abd al-Rahman Maher Abd al-Karim Ziadeh, a Hamas Nukhba force cell commander who participated in the October 7 massacre. The IDF stated that Ziadeh was eliminated in a strike in the Shati area of the Gaza Strip last week. It was also reported that "in another strike on the same day in the Khan Younis area, Kamal Mohammed Hamdan Najjar, head of a tunneling unit in the region, was eliminated. Throughout the war, and particularly in recent times, terrorists have attempted to advance terror plans against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip. The terrorists posed an immediate threat to the forces and were eliminated in precise strikes."
