The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Army, General CQ Brown, visited Israel over the weekend as the official guest of IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi. This was announced by the IDF spokesperson, who noted that the two held a joint situation assessment "during which they discussed regional challenges, primarily the situation in the Gaza Strip and future challenges in both near and distant theaters. The IDF places great importance on its relationship with the US military and will continue to work to strengthen cooperation between the armies."
