A police officer detained ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth reporter Hassan Shaalan and Haaretz reporter Diaa Hadj Yahia while they were covering the suspected double murder case in Horshim Forest in the Sharon region. According to the reporters, "The officer asked us to move away from where we were standing, far from the murder scene, and spoke in a rude manner. He took our mobile phones and car keys, and other officers conducted body and clothing searches in a humiliating way, then took us in a patrol car claiming we interfered with a police officer performing his duties."
