The Ministry of Transportation announced that Minister Miri Regev has signed a commercial license for the Cypriot company Tus Airways. The decision was made after the Cypriot company, owned by Israeli company Kavey Hofsha, met all requirements set by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in accordance with the Aviation Services Licensing Law. The Transportation Ministry's statement said that "Tus company is expected to complete its operational licensing process in the near future and officially join the Israeli airline fleet - the largest fleet ever to operate in Israel. This move will add stability and competition to Israel's national aviation system."
