The selection committee for the CEO of the Israel Land Authority has recommended Yehuda Eliyahu, head of the Settlement Division in Judea and Samaria, for the position of Authority CEO. Four committee members supported the recommendation, while one opposed it. The legal advisor to the selection committee also opposes the appointment, despite initially supporting it, and now claims Eliyahu has political affiliations. The majority of committee members argued that Eliyahu possesses exceptional qualifications that outweigh concerns about affiliation.
