Some 40,000 visitors toured nature reserves and national parks across the country over the weekend. The Nature and Parks Authority reported that the leading sites were Gan HaShelosha (Sachne), Dor-HaBonim Beach Reserve, Caesarea, Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek) and Ein Hemed. Around 2,000 visitors spent the weekend at the Authority's overnight parking lots, with the most popular being Achziv Beach, Tal Forest, Ma'ayan Harod, Tel Ashkelon and Eshkol Park.
