Supreme Court Begins Hearing on Disqualification of Balad Chairman from Knesset Race

The Supreme Court began hearing arguments on the disqualification of Balad chairman Sami Abu Shehadeh, Knesset member Ofer Cassif, Ra'am and the Joint List from running in the elections for the 26th Knesset. The hearing is being held before a panel of nine justices and is presided over by Supreme Court Chief Justice Yitzhak Amit.
