Wittcoff: 'Think we will have a major announcement about countries joining Abraham Accords'

|
Steve Wittcoff, U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, said: "I hope for a comprehensive peace agreement with Iran. There is a strong feeling that Iran is ready." Wittcoff emphasized that uranium enrichment by Iran and its pursuit of nuclear weapons are a red line for the U.S. "We cannot accept this because it would destabilize the entire region. If this happens, everyone will need a bomb - and we simply cannot accept that," he said. Wittcoff added: "I think we will have major announcements regarding countries entering the Abraham Accords."
