Social organizations to Netanyahu: Appoint permanent ministers instead of Shas

|
A series of social organizations sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanding the appointment of permanent ministers to the Labor, Welfare, Health, and Interior ministries, which Shas ministers left in July. After the faction's ministers resigned, the ministries were left with acting ministers whose appointments expired in October, and Ministers Yariv Levin and Haim Katz took on managing these ministries in addition to their own. "The absence of full-time ministers is creating a socioeconomic disaster," the organizations claimed. Among those who signed the letter: Kav LaOved, Sunflower Association for Orphans in Israel, Israel Women's Network, Bar-Ilan University Legal Clinics, Rabbis for Human Rights and others.
