The minimum wage in Israel will increase beginning in April to 6,443.85 shekels for a full-time position and to 35.4 shekels per hour. In families where both spouses earn minimum wage, the annual family income will grow by more than 4,700 shekels per year. The government attempted to freeze the minimum wage increase as well as tax credits, but ultimately reached an agreement with the Histadrut labor federation.
