Two masked individuals vandalized the windows of "Otello" ice cream shop in Herzliya, allegedly due to its operation on the Sabbath. Mayor Yariv Fisher wrote in a social media post that "Herzliya Municipality stands with the ice cream shop owners and expresses disgust at the criminal acts of the offenders who committed serious vandalism by smashing the glass. These rioters harmed both Otello's owners and all city residents who believe in the value of 'live and let live.' During my term, Herzliya will continue to be a liberal beacon, and anyone who tries to damage our beautiful way of life will be condemned by us."
