IDF Chief to Hold Discussion on 'Neza' Film, IDF Spokesperson: 'We Completely Reject the Claims'

|
The IDF Spokesperson stated that the military "completely rejects the claims" raised in the Neza film. The statement said that "in the quoted segments, there are claims regarding national and military strategy that clearly are not within the knowledge of junior-ranking soldiers. There is reference to situations in which Military Intelligence Directorate soldiers, who were allegedly interviewed in the film, are by definition not involved in them." The military also addressed claims regarding the use of AI in selecting targets for elimination: "Decisions regarding the selection and approval of strikes in the IDF are made by human actors only in accordance with IDF guidelines." IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir is expected to hold a discussion today on how to respond to the claims raised in the film.
