China's military has deployed "air, sea and missile forces" near Taiwan for exercises called "Just Mission 2025" as a "severe warning" against Taiwan's demands for independence. The Chinese military stated that "the exercises will serve as a severe warning to separatist Taiwan" and to "external forces" supporting its struggle to separate from China.
