Police have begun evacuating residents of Zalman Shazar Street in Haifa's Romema neighborhood due to a brush fire advancing toward homes. The evacuation is being carried out based on ongoing situation assessments in the field. Police instructions issued to residents state: "Evacuate immediately according to security forces' instructions on the ground; ensure all household members are with you, including children, elderly and pets; take only essential personal items; assist people with disabilities and the elderly; do not approach fire areas - this is a real life-threatening situation; avoid unnecessary travel to the area and follow forces' instructions."
