Meital Weiss, whose father Ilan Weiss was murdered and whose body is being held in the Gaza Strip, said in a statement at the Hostages Square in Tel Aviv that 'I feel the commitment to my father has unraveled. This year again we will stand heartbroken, without a grave to mourn at - something so basic and elementary.' She said that 'the loss of the fallen will be a tragedy for generations. Their disappearance undermines the fundamental values on which the state was built. We must not allow this to happen.'
