Following the assault on American press photographer Heidi Levine of the Washington Post by Jewish rioters in the village of Abu Falah, police announced that an investigation has been opened into the matter. It was also reported that "at this stage, officers are preparing to enter the scenes accompanied by an IDF force, in order to collect findings and evidence as well as to gather testimonies for the investigation that has begun."
