Trump Declares Holidays to Mark World War Victories: 'Achieved Only Thanks to Us'

|
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his Truth Social platform national holidays commemorating victories in both World Wars, on November 11, 1918, and May 8, 1945. He wrote, 'We never took credit for it - even though everyone else does. The only country that doesn't celebrate is the USA - despite the fact that victory was achieved only thanks to us.' Trump added that businesses would not close on these new holidays, explaining: 'We already have too many holidays in America - there aren't enough days left in the year.'
