Somalia president: Somaliland agreed to settle Palestinians and build Israeli base

Somalia's president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, said in an interview with Qatari television station Al Jazeera that Somaliland has agreed to settle Palestinians within its territory, build an Israeli base and join the Abraham Accords. Mohamud added that "we did not expect Israeli recognition (of Somaliland) and were surprised by its intervention."
