The Journalists' Association announced that it will petition the Supreme Court against the government's decision to close Galei Tzahal (IDF Radio). The organization stated that "the government's decision constitutes a severe and forbidden violation of freedom of expression and press freedom. This is an unreasonable and disproportionate decision that harms the foundations of democracy and the rule of law, and in general, the government has no authority to take any measures regarding the station's broadcasts."
