The prosecution has filed an indictment with the Central District Court in Lod against Andre Sanchez (38), a British citizen, who smuggled 5.6 kilograms of dangerous drugs into Israel. According to the indictment, Sanchez ordered flight tickets from London to Israel for himself and his girlfriend, and before the flight persuaded her to hide shampoo bottles containing ketamine in her suitcase. Together they carried nine bottles containing the drug in their suitcases. They were detained at border control and the drugs were found during a search.
