The Foreign Ministry confirmed that Israeli citizens were detained yesterday in Turkey on suspicion of involvement in criminal activity, apparently as part of a broader wave of arrests. "The Foreign Ministry is handling the incident and working to ensure that the rights of the Israeli citizens are protected," it was stated. Turkey's Justice Minister claimed that out of more than 200 detainees, nine are Israelis.
