|
U.S. President Donald Trump held a joint press conference with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the NATO summit. Trump said, "We're going to have very good discussions, but we do a lot of business with Turkey. We make great things and they make great things, and it's had a very big impact on both of our countries." Trump was asked whether the United States would sell advanced F-35 fighter jets to Turkey and responded: "Turkey is loyal to us, more than other countries. We'll have to decide."
