The IDF Spokesperson has cleared for publication the names of two soldiers who fell in combat in two separate incidents in southern Gaza Strip. Cpl. Yishai Elyakim Orbach, 20, from Zichron Yaakov, a combat soldier in the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion, 'Barak' Formation (188), and Sgt. Yam Freed, 21, from Sla'it, a fighter in the Golani Reconnaissance Unit. In the incident where Cpl. Orbach fell, two soldiers from the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion were seriously and moderately wounded. In the incident where Sgt. Freed fell, a combat officer from the Golani Reconnaissance Unit, another officer, and a soldier from the 605th Combat Engineering Battalion were seriously wounded; an additional reserve soldier from the Golani Reconnaissance Unit was moderately wounded.
