The U.S. has removed the requirement for Saudi Arabia to normalize relations with Israel as a condition for advancing negotiations on civilian nuclear cooperation, Reuters reported citing two sources. Saudi normalization was among Washington's demands during the negotiations during former President Joe Biden's term. Saudi Arabia had conditioned normalization on the establishment of a Palestinian state, which thwarted the Biden administration's attempts to expand the Abraham Accords.
