The Emek Hefer Regional Council announced that Michmoret and Neurim beaches in its jurisdiction will reopen for swimming, as no sharks have been spotted in their vicinity for more than a week. 'If sharks are identified, do not approach them under any circumstances,' council officials emphasized. They also noted that 'sharks are still being spotted daily near the Beit Yanai beach, therefore its reopening for swimming has not been approved at this stage.'
