The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump wants to sell military equipment to Israel in a deal estimated at about $6 billion and is seeking congressional approval for the move, sources familiar with the details told the Wall Street Journal. According to the report, payment will be transferred to the U.S. from foreign military financing funds that the U.S. provides to some of its allies. The deal will reportedly include 30 Apache helicopters worth $3.9 billion and about 3,250 armored personnel carriers worth $1.9 billion. Even if approved, the equipment will not be delivered to Israel in the next two to three years.
