Saudi fighter jets bombed Shiite militias backed by Iran in Iraq during the war between Iran and the United States. Reuters news agency reported, based on three senior Iraqi military officials, that Kuwait also attacked the militias. The sources added that the targets attacked were sites from which drone and missile attacks were launched against Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states.
