Father of lookout Roni Eshel to Smotrich: 'She begged for help until her voice went silent'

|
Eyal Eshel, father of lookout Roni Eshel who reported the terrorist infiltration on October 7 and fell in the command center in Nahal Oz, responded to statements made by Minister Bezalel Smotrich. In an interview with "7 Days," Smotrich said, "On October 7 at 12:00, we didn't send all forces south because we didn't know if it was a deception exercise," and Eyal Eshel replied: "Between 06:29 and 12:00 noon, my Ronki and her friends begged for help, until between 12:00-13:00 her voice went silent. Today I understand why there were no forces to help them." He called for the establishment of a state commission of inquiry.
