Police located a monkey in a house in Nehora village in the Lachish Regional Council and detained a suspect for questioning. According to police, during a search of the house following information received by authorities, Border Police officers found a green vervet monkey that was tied with a leash in the kitchen area and kept in the house illegally. It was transferred to the care of Nature and Parks Authority inspectors.
