Hostage survivor Omer Neukerkt, who was held with Avitar David in the same tunnel, said in a speech at the hostages' square that "yesterday they saw Omer Neukerkt, the captivity version," in light of Hamas' released footage. Omer added: "Look at Avitar, his eyes tell the story of all of us - a bitter and enormous cry for help."
