MK Ravivo explains himself: 'I was referring to those with agenda trying to attack government'

MK Eliyahu Ravivo responded to the controversy sparked by his comments in a Knesset committee, where he said to the grandfather of hostage survivor Ofir Angel: "I'm just curious to know what you'll do in your daily lives when the hostages return." He explained on X: "The comments were directed at those whose aim is to attack the government and who are cynically using the families' pain to do so." Barak Oz, cousin of hostage Bar Kuperstein, claimed the words were taken out of context: "Ravivo says he's with us, someone was bothering him and got on his nerves so he made an inappropriate comment."
