Lebanese media outlets reported that the country is attempting to prevent a strike on the Al-Masnaa crossing between Syria and Lebanon, which Israel threatened to attack yesterday. Lebanon's LBCI network claimed that Beirut, under the direction of President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, contacted the Egyptian side to mediate with Israel in order to prevent the strike. According to the report, Lebanon has not yet received any guarantees on the matter.
