|
Police arrested an Israeli teenager from the Negev in May on suspicion of planning to carry out terror activity inspired by ISIS. The investigation revealed that the suspect saw himself as an operative of the organization, pledged allegiance, and even tried to recruit others to the organization. The investigation also found that the suspect consumed and published extremist content that identified with ISIS and incited terrorism. At the conclusion of the investigation, an indictment was filed against him by the Southern District Attorney's Office, charging him with serious security offenses.
