The Ministerial Committee for Legislation is expected to discuss this Sunday a new bill proposed by Constitution Committee Chairman MK Simcha Rothman, which would strip the Supreme Court President of the authority to determine the composition of judicial panels in Supreme Court hearings. According to the proposal, a computer would determine the composition of judges randomly and permanently.
