IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Efi Defrin said in a statement to the press that forces in the Gaza Strip are holding 40% of Gaza City. "This week we began mobilizing reserve forces which serve as a force multiplier. As part of the operation, IDF forces are fighting and maneuvering inside Gaza City in the Zeitoun neighborhood and on the outskirts of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood," he noted.
