The Health Ministry reported that 56 measles cases have been diagnosed in Israel in recent weeks, identifying local outbreaks in major disease hotspots - Bnei Brak, Modiin Illit and Jerusalem. 18 cases were imported from abroad or linked to foreign cases, while the rest were local transmissions or of unknown origin. The Ministry added that measles cases continue to rise worldwide, noting high infection rates in several countries frequently visited by Israelis, including Vietnam, Morocco, India, Ethiopia and Thailand.
