Opposition Leader Yair Lapid said following reports about Shin Bet Chief David Zini's demand to investigate senior members of Arab parties that "what we are seeing tonight is an attempt to crush democracy and steal the elections with the help of government cronies in the security system." He added that "this is a direct threat to our democracy from people who are not willing to admit defeat."
