President Isaac Herzog visited the Judea and Samaria Division amid heightened tensions in the sector. During the visit, he said: "We are seeing very serious phenomena of nationalist crime, phenomena that go to the root of our ability to function as a state, harm our ability to exercise sovereignty and the rule of law. This is something that severely damages Israel's good name, it is a stain on its face, and moreover, it primarily harms the settlement enterprise. The political echelon must provide all the tools so that this phenomenon stops. There are legal and other measures that can be implemented so that this phenomenon is stopped and curbed."
