Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will hold talks with his counterparts in France, Britain and Germany on nuclear issues and sanctions, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported. The three European powers have issued an ultimatum to Tehran, threatening to reimpose sanctions on the Islamic Republic through the "snapback" mechanism if it does not return to the negotiating table on its nuclear program by the end of the month. The mechanism allows European countries and the United States to restore sanctions that were imposed on Tehran before it signed the nuclear deal with the American administration in 2015.
