The government approved Foreign Minister Gideon Saar's proposal to extend Israel's ambassador to Germany Ron Prosor's term for another year. This comes after receiving approval from the Civil Service Commission. This is the second extension. After taking office, Foreign Minister Saar extended Ambassador Prosor's term for the first time, in appreciation of his work and unique significant contribution to strengthening relations between Israel and Germany. Previously, Prosor served as Director General of the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Israel's Ambassador to the UN.
