Fuel prices will rise tomorrow night (between Tuesday and Wednesday) by 1.03 shekels and will stand at 8.05 shekels per liter for 95-octane gasoline at self-service stations (including VAT). The surcharge for full service will stand at 25 agorot per liter, including VAT. In Eilat, the price will stand at 6.82 shekels per liter, an increase of 87 agorot from the previous update. The surcharge for full service will stand at 21 agorot (without VAT), unchanged from the previous update. The price increase is mainly due to rising global oil prices amid the war. In addition, there has been an increase of about 2% in the fuel exchange rate. The government is considering reducing the excise tax on fuel by half a shekel to one shekel in order to mitigate the price increase.
