Former Israeli national soccer team player and Beitar Jerusalem player Shlomo Keret, 72, was killed by a train in the city of Rehovot. Keret began his career at Maccabi Sha'arayim, won two State Cups with Beitar Jerusalem and Bnei Yehuda, and recorded 24 appearances in the national jersey alongside legends such as the late Avi Cohen and Moshe Sinai.
