|
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto confirmed at the UN General Assembly meeting that his country is ready to send troops as part of an international force in Gaza when a ceasefire is achieved. Prabowo said in his speech that "we cannot remain silent when Palestinians have no justice and legitimacy. Indonesia is one of the largest contributors to UN peacekeeping forces. We believe in this organization and will continue to serve wherever needed - not just with words but with forces on the ground."
