Mohammad Ranjbaran, advisor to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, addressed the nuclear negotiations with the U.S., telling Lebanese Al-Mayadeen that 'after the third round, Washington adopted different positions and spoke about uranium enrichment as a red line. The talks could not continue with these contradicting positions, and we decided to cancel the fourth round. After messages were conveyed from Washington to Tehran, it took place and Iran warned about the implications of this approach on the talks.' According to him, 'Iran and the U.S. both see uranium enrichment as a red line. Their red line is on paper, but our red line is written in our veins. It's untouchable, and the Americans are fully aware of this.'
