IDF spokesperson in Arabic, Colonel Avichay Adraee, issued an evacuation warning "to residents of Gaza City in several blocks and to residents in the tower and tents nearby located on Jamal Abdel Nasser Street." The notice stated that "the IDF will soon attack the building due to the presence of Hamas terrorist infrastructure inside or nearby. For your safety, you are required to evacuate immediately from the area southward to the humanitarian zone in Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip."
