The prosecution filed a severe indictment last week against Sharon Yehuda, the financial manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball team, for committing serious sex offenses against a minor. According to the indictment, Yehuda had prior acquaintance with the minor, who was under 14 years old, and provided him with gifts and money to entice him into meeting, where he committed the offenses. The indictment states that the acts continued from July 2024 through March 2026. The offenses attributed to Yehuda include: rape of a minor under 14, indecent acts with a minor under 14, unlawful penetration of a minor and attempted unlawful penetration. Yehuda denies the charges.
